The male Ferruginous Duck was at Lurgan Park Lake and a Barnacle Goose with 130 Greylag at Lady Bay along the Antrim shore of Lough Neagh. It is possible there are 2 male Ferruginous (the other at Craigavon) but this has still to be proved (S Hewitt).
The first winter Mediterranean Gull (with the yellow ring) was still at Ballycarry Bridge in Larne Lough. An adult Mediterranean Gull was along the seafront at Whitehead (Cameron Moore).
5 Waxwing were on telegraph poles along Belfast Road in Bangor - feeding on cotoneaster in the gardens of 54 and 58 and giving very close views (George Gordon).
A Brambling was with 150 Chaffinch/Goldfinch and a few Lesser Redpoll in a garden in Killough (Chris Murphy).
