Bird News Saturday 13th August

A Spotted Redshank, 10 Ruff and a Green Sandpiper were at the Bann estuary and 11 Whimbrel and 6 Ruff were at Myroe Levels. (Neal Warnock).

A first winter Mediterranean Gull was at Moygannon, Warrenpoint and 2 Crossbill were at Rostrevor Forest. (Joe Devlin).

An adult Spotted Redshank, Whimbrel, 2 Ruff and a Common Sandpiper were at Belfast Lough RSPB reserve. (Stuart McKee)

One of the Slavonian Grebes was still at Portmore Lough RSPB. (Irish Birding).

The hybrid Ring Billed Gull x Common Gull was back at Millisle, a Great Skua, Red Throated Diver and 5 Whimbrel were at Burial Island on the outer Ards. (Richard Weyl).
