Bird News Wednesday 10th August

9 Ruff were in the south west corner of Lough Beg. (David Steele).

The Hobby continues its stay at the Montaighs. (Irish Birding).

2 Slavonian Grebes were at Portmore Lough RSPB reserve. (Irish Birding).

A juvenile Ruff, a different bird from those previously present, was at Belfast Lough RSPB, and a moulting adult Mediterranean Gull was at Kinnegar shore. (Stuart McKee).
