Bird News Monday 21st May

The 2 Pectoral Sandpipers are still in the south west corner of Lough Beg. (Bird Guides).

A male Great Spotted Woodpecker was coming to a feeder in a garden in Ballynahinch (Malcolm Hynes).
 
2 Jays were seen along the dual carriageway from Newtownards to Dundonald - one at the roundabout at Newtownards and the other at Quarry Corner (Micky McCoy).

The Bluethroat continues its stay on Tory Island, Co. Donegal. (Irish Birding).
