Bird News Saturday 12th May

A dark-bellied Brent Goose was at Ganaway Bay north of Ballywalter. A Short-eared Owl still at Ballyquintin Point with 7 Wheatear (including at least 3 Greenland) and 20 Whimbrel (Richard Weyl)
At least 2 Reed Warbler and 1 Sedge Warbler singing at Ballyherly (Down) this morning. (Keith Bennett)

An adult Med Gull was at Whiteabbey (Irish Birding)

In Co Donegal a drake Ring-necked Duck was at Blanketnook (Derek Brennan)
