Bird News Thursday 24th May

The male Garden Warbler was still singing at Annadale Embankment this morning (Dermot Hughes)
A Little Egret was at Anne's Point and a singing Reed Warbler at Lough Cowey (Paul Scott)
A pair of Ringed Plovers with chicks were on the beach at Seapoint, Greenisland. Also around 8 Dunlin in summer plumage, 2 Sandwich Terns and 20-30 male Eider. (David Stirling)
Another Garden Warbler was at Lisnaskea Forest in Co Ferm.(Irish Birding)
4 Sandwich Tern, a Buzzard and Sedge Warblers were at Quoile Pondage. Last night at 10.30pm a Long-eared Owl was just off the Comber Road in Killyleagh (Spencer and Joan Marshall).
