Bird News Sunday 18th November

The Buff-bellied Pipit was at Corbetts Beach, west of Tyrella, Co Down (Philip West / Ed O'Hara et al). However later, whilst observing 'the bird', it was briefly joined by a very similar pipit. There was slightly more streaking on the belly of this second bird and the consensus of a number of the observers is that there are now likely to be two Buff-bellied Pipits - however unprobable that scenario sounds!

Four American Golden Plover were at Myroe Levels, an adult and 3 juveniles.
