Whilst observing 'the Buff-bellied Pipit' at Tyrella this morning, a second bird was picked up. It was difficult to keep both birds in the same view or continually be aware of their location but the picture below of the two birds was eventually managed by Garry Armstrong. The first picture was taken by Ian Graham, pictures 2&3 were taken by Gary Armstrong, pictures 1&2 show the same bird while the third picture seems to show a more streaked bird. For there to be two birds together (potentially NI's third and fourth records) is amazing to say the least. (Philip West, Ian Graham, Garry Armstrong)
