Today on the Outer Ards, Co Down were 1 adult Mediterranean Gull past Ballyquintin, at least 5 European Storm Petrel offshore at Ballyquintin; 2 Common Sandpiper at Kearney. (Keith Bennett)

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was seen in Larch woodland in the Annalong Valley, near Kilkeel yesterday afternoon. (Jim Wells).
