Bird News Monday 14th March

4 Long-tailed Ducks were off Carrickfergus Castle (Gerard McGeehan).

3 Goosander have been on the River Maine since Saturday 12th March. (Ian Logan)

2 Sand Martins flew over this morning at Brigg's Rocks (Colin Guy) - these are the first spring passerines to be reported.
