This is the best time to see the 36,000 pairs of Gannets on Ailsa Craig.
The thousands of young Gannets (Gugas as they are called) are just about to take their first flights and the cliffs are alive with the sights, sounds and indeed the smells of these amazing birds.
We had a great trip there a couple of weeks ago and a few people are interested in going this Thursday (1st September).
This will probably be our last visit to the Island this year so do let me know if you are interested.
The 3 folk who have already indicated an interest in going on Thursday don't need to contact me again.
