Bird News Friday 12th August

A Little Egret was at RSPB WOW reserve. There was no sign of the White-rumped Sandpiper this morning but it was present all day yesterday and may still be present. (Stuart McKee).

A family of Spotted Flycatcher were at Derrymore Wood Bessbrook this afternoon. (Frank Carroll).

A 2nd winter Mediterranean Gull almost completing its moult from first summer was at the Belfast Lough RSPB WOW reserve. (Stuart McKee).
