Bird News Thursday 13th April

A 3rd winter Glaucous Gull was in Glenwherry today (Neal Warnock)

RSPB WOW Belfast had 6 Med Gulls and over 700 Common Gulls of all ages. Also Black-headed Gulls numbered up to 1300 +. (Derek Polley)

10 Twite were at Whitehead seafront (Ian Enlander)

Rathlin highlights from today included the presumed same Iceland Gull still hanging around, Merlin heading north overhead, 2 Blackcaps and a White Wagtail. One or two Willow Warblers now in virtually every garden on the island (Ric Else and Hazel Watson)
