Bird News Tuesday 11th April

This morning a Great White Egret was seen in flight over the Twelve Arches, near Dundrum. It was heading in the Newcastle direction. (Dan Bailie).

On a windy morning on Rathlin waders are on the move, 5 Whimbrels were around the harbour. Also a Blackcap was singing and a Rook flying over. A Twite was on the cliff at the West Light. (Richard Else).
