Bird News Saturday 15th December

22 Waxwing were at Milltown, Shaws Bridge, Belfast (W Farrelly)

Around 25 Waxwing were near Flowerfield, Portstewart. A further 2 Waxwing in the Loughan, Coleraine (Richard Donaghey)

A further 10 Waxwings were feeding on Cotoneaster in Coleraine (Hill Dick)

2 Long-tailed Duck were off Fisherman's Pier in Carrickfergus (Paul McCullough).

A Short-eared Owl was at Lough Foyle and 3 Snow Bunting at Myroe (Theo Campbell / Christine Cassidy).

In Bangor 12 Waxwing were still at junction of Moira Park and Moira Drive and 22 Waxwing along Donaghadee Road just past the junction with Groomsport Road (Margaret Adamson). Another 20 Waxwing were at the top of High Street near the Maxol Garage (Nicola Monk).
The adult Little Gull is still at Craigavon Balancing Lakes.

2 Raven were along the canal at Portadown today (Alistair Prentice)
