Seabirds Talk Wednesday

The Ulster Museum has been hosting a series of talks exploring aspects of marine life. Talks are held 1-2pm, in the Ulster Museum Lecture Theatre. For more information please see http://www.nmni.com/um/What-s-on.

Shane Wolsey, British Trust for Ornithology
This summer, video monitors were installed for the first time on Cockle Island, Groomsport which is the summer breeding ground of a significant population of Sandwich, Common and Arctic Terns. Shane Wolsey of the British Trust for Ornithology tells the story of the establishment of a new seabird centre that exposes the intimate activity of a frenetic mixed seabird colony for all to see.

Entry is free and booking is not required but space is limited so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. All are welcome
