Bird News Friday 2nd April

A White Wagtail was along the shore at the Barmouth before flying off. (Bob Watts).

The Black Redstart was again at the base of the cliffs on the south side of Killard. A Wheatear and White Wagtail were also present (Tony Dodds / Billy Miskelly).

A Short-eared Owl was at Rough Island in Strangford Lough this morning. (Dougie Gamble).

A House Martin was in Portadown this morning. A Merlin was seen near Drumcree Chuch. (Brian Nelson).

Two Common Terns were feeding at Kinnegar shore in Belfast Lough this morning. (John Fraser).
