Bird News Monday 24th January

 One of the Glossy Ibis was still at Portmore Lough RSPB this morning. (Albert Boyle).

The 20 White-fronted Geese that roost on Rathlin have been tracked to farmland at Maghernahar near Ballycastle. (Hazel Watson & Ric Else).

8 Goosander were at Begny Lough outside Dromara. (Ron Price & Michael Taylor).

A Great Skua was at Lower Lough Erne Islands RSPB reserve, possibly the first record for Co. Fermanagh. (Brad Robson).

The Cattle Egret was still at the Creagh outside Toomebridge this morning. (Nigel Moore).

An ad. Med Gull was at the Ecos centre,  Ballymena.(Jeff Larkin)
