Bird News Tuesday 25th January

The Brambling flock was still in Clandeboye Estate. (Ian Graham).

7 Goosander, 2 male and 5 red heads, were at Corbet Lough outside Banbridge, 37 Whooper Swans were also present. (Mike McLaughlin)

A Brambling was in a garden in Brookeborough, Co Fermanagh, this morning. (John Young).

Two Brambling, a male and a female were in Stormont Estate. (Paul McCullough).

The Ring Ouzel was seen briefly in flight at Ballard Road. A Merlin and Sparrowhawk were also present. There were four goosander at Begny Lough outside Dromara and the Spotted Redshank was on the other side of Dundrum Inner Bay near the play park .A Red kite was just north of Dundrum village.
