Bird News Wednesday 26th January

A Green-winged Teal is on the shingle bank at Castle Espie this morning. (Jonny Clark)

Five Goosanders (just one male today) were on the River Main at Slaght near Ballymena first thing this morning - a total of at least seven birds have been seen over the last few days. (David Steele).

The Ring Ouzel was still at Ballard Road, Lislea, outside Newry. (Peter Phillips).

An adult Iceland Gull was at RSPB WoW this afternoon (Stuart McKee)

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was in a garden at Lisleen Road, Castlereagh Hills (Ian Young)
