Seawatching on Rathlin from 0800-0930 had an adult Sabine's Gull, a juvenile Little Gull, 10 Sooty Shearwaters, 1 Arctic Skua, 2 Arctic Terns, a Merlin and a Minke Whale. The Curlew Sandpiper was still present at Mill Bay. (Ric Else)
The Barmouth had an adult Curlew Sand, a Little stint, 4 Med gulls, 3 Grey plover and a Ruff (Theo Campbell). Early afternoon there were 13 Curlew Sandpipers and 3 Little Stints (John Spottiswood)

Sea watching from Rathlin this morning between 8.00 and 12.00 produced a juvenile Sabine's Gull. juvenile Little Gull, 175+ Sooty Shearwaters, 3 Storm Petrel, single Arctic and Great Skuas, 2 Red-throated Divers, 2 Arctic/Common Terns, 6 migrating Snipe among large numbers of Gannets, Manx Shearwaters, Kittiwakes, Fulmars and auks. The Curlew Sandpiper was still in Church Bay. (Ric Else & Hazel Watson).

Three Black Terns, a Green Sandpiper, eight Ruff and an Osprey were at the ponds at Mullagh at the south end of Lough Beg this afternoon. The female Smew was seen again at the main lake. (David Steele).
