Bird News Saturday 11th December

69 Waxwing were at Glenview along Crawfordsburn Road in Bangor (Richard Gray).
At least 20 Waxwing were at Ormeau Embankment in Belfast (Pat Gordon).
50 Waxwing were at High Street, Belfast (Keith Bennett)
30 Waxwing were at Eliza Street and 5 at High Street, Belfast. (James Robinson)

At Larne Lough 100 Greylag, 7 Whooper Swan and 2 Woodcock were on the north side of Ballycarry Bridge - the Greylag are likely to be Icelandic birds as this count is much higher than the usual feral ones (Ian Enlander).
2 LT Duck were off Fisherman's Pier in Carrickfergus and a Little Egret at Ballycarry Bridge (Keith Bennett).

4 Brambling were with 50 Chaffinch between Greyabbey and Ballywalter at the Ards Peninsula (McCullough).

A Carrion Crow was at Crawfordsburn Beach (Richard Gray)

A Little Egret flew east at Orlock Point (Richard Weyl).
