Bird News Monday 6th December

20 Waxwings were still feeding on Rowan berries at 42 Fitzwilliam Street, Stranmillis, Belfast. (Keith Bennet).

The adult Ring Billed Gull and 1st winter Mediterranean Gullwere still at Portrush East Strand car park and, unusually, 80 Skylark were trying to feed in the car park. Several Snipe were on Ramore Head. (Matthew Tickner).

3 Sandwich Tern were at Portaferry Marina. (Jack Foster).

In addition to the Sandwich Tern reported at Drumfad Bay yesterday an adult Mediterranean Gull and a Jack Snipe were also present. (Richard Weyl).
