Answer to Part 5: Herring Gull
- Just like the one below, which is terrorizing customers at the Lidl car park in Newcastle, Co. Down. A threat to the unwary but fast becoming a local celebrity!
- a fake plastic owl was erected to scare it off but only served as an extra perch - since removed after being laughed at by both the local press and the gull, of course.
- Herring Gulls are a protected species in Northern Ireland
