Bird News Monday 17th May

One Dark-bellied Brent was with 14 Pale-bellied Brent at Kinnegar (Bob Watts)

Two Cuckoos were seen on the Bishops Road towards Gortmore, Binevenagh. (Paula Campbell)

A Pomarine Skua was chasing Sandwich Terns in Dundrum Outer Bay (Stuart McKee)

The Great White Egret was still at Lough Beg - viewable on the way to Strand Point (David Stirling)

The Black Necked Grebe was still present at Reedy Flat and could be heard calling from the road. A drake Garganey was also present (James O'Neill)
