Bird News Monday 17th October

A Black Tern was off the hide at the Bar Mouth at Castlerock this morning. (Irish Birding).

At Larne Lough 2 Mediterranean Gull, an adult and a second winter were at Sandy Bay and 3 Greenshank off Glynn. (Cameron Moore).

The second winter Ring Billed Gull was still at Groomsport. (George Gordon).

Yesterday a Pomarine Skua was at Ramore Head. (Matthew Tickner). A Merlin and Arctic Skua were at St John's Point. (Chris Murphy). A great Northern Diver and a Red Throated Diver were at Larne Lough. (Cameron Moore).

Also yesterday 2 Buzzard were being mobbed by Crows at Carrowreagh Road, Dundonald. (Stephen Maxwell).
