Bird News Tuesday 8th November

 The two Great White Egrets were still at Ballycarry Bridge in Larne Lough this morning. (Kevin Kirkham).

The Turtle Dove was reported again in Lisburn this morning. (Birdguides).

At least 10 Crossbills are still in Woodburn Forest. (Gerard McGeehan, Shirley Dunlop).

A Black Tern was at Portmuck this afternoon. (Gerard McGeehan, Shirley Dunlop).

A Little Gull, Woodcock and Merlin were on Rathlin today. (James Crymble)

90 Greenland Whitefronts were at the south end of Lough Beg. (David Steele).

The Spotted Redshank was still at Ballycarry Bridge in Larne Lough. (Cameron Moore).

A Long-tailed Duck, Merlin, 11 Greenland Whitefronts, c30 Slavonian Grebes, 900 Whoopers, a Peregrine and 40 Pintail were at Longfield Point. (Richard Donaghey).
