Bird News Monday 20th March

Yesterday the Ring-billed Gull was reported at the Round O, Enniskillen.

Last Friday, 3 Alpine Swifts were seen over Oxford Island, (Emma Mulholland, Matthew Flood)

The Green-winged Teal and the Spotted Redshank are at Ballycarry Bridge. (Cameron Moore)

The adult Iceland Gull was still at Kinnegar shore this evening (Daniel Newton)

A Red Kite was seen outside Hillsborough (Garry Wilkinson)

Keep looking for Alpine Swifts. It is estimated that over 40 birds have reached Ireland and so far there has only been one sighting in NI.
