Bird News Sunday 12th March

Three adult Little Gulls were at Briggs Rocks flying into Belfast Lough. (Billy Miskelly).

The Waxwings are still in Ward Park in Bangor. (Michael Latham)

The 2nd or 3rd winter Glaucous Gull was in Killough harbour from Station Road. The Black Redstart and 250 Fieldfares were at St John's Point. (Chris Murphy).

The Glaucous Gull was seen again off Portstewart. (Stephen Riddell).

The adult Ring-billed Gull is still at the Round O in Enniskillen. (Wilton Farrelly).

The White-tailed Eagle was on Rathlin this morning before flying towards Ballycastle. (Ric Else & Hazel Watson).

The Glaucous Gull was at the Bann estuary. (Dean Jones).

The Spotted Redshank was still at the high tide roost in Dundrum and a Carrion Crow was at Strangford. (Michael Latham) The Spotted Redshank was still present later. (Graham McElwaine).

A Little Gull was at Groomsport harbour this afternoon. (John Spottiswood).

The female Brambling was still at Minnowburn in Belfast. (Dave Allen).

The Black Redstart and a single Purple Sandpiper were by the Rangers club in Whitehead. (Richard Grey).

The male Smew was still at Gawley's Gate, Lough Neagh. A Pinkfoot was with the Greylags at Portmore. (Emma Mulholland, Matthew Flood).

A Yellowhammer was near Clare Glen in Armagh. (Phil Webb).
