Bird News Saturday 13th September

An adult Little Gull was at the old baths Whitehead, Belfast Lough, a Mediterranean Gull was also present. A Red-throated Diver was off shore. (Paul McCullough).

A pair of Raven were over a garden in Comber flying towards Scrabo. (Chris Shaw).

A fall of migrants at Copeland Bird Observatory in misty south-easterlies in the morning included a juvenile Barred Warbler (4th for CBO), 12 Goldcrest, 20 Robin, 8 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap and a Sparrowhawk (Chris Acheson).

The Pectoral Sandpiper was still at RSPB Belfast Harbour Reserve this morning.

This morning 3 Red Grouse and a pair of Kestrels were at Llendrum Windfarm, near Fivemiletown, Co Tyrone. (Colin Bell).
