Bird News Saturday 6th September

A Lesser Yellowlegs, 3 Curlew Sandpiper, a Little Stint 6 Ruff were at Blanket Nook, Donegal (Brad Robson. The bird was best viewed from the pump house at the far/ east end on peninsula sticking out from south bank with Ruff.

The Pectoral Sandpiper was still st Belfast Harbour Lagoon (Tom Ennis et al)

There were approximately 300-400 Brent Geese around the Floodgates area (Ards) at
Strangford at midday (Lindsay Hodges/Doris Noe)
