Bird News Monday 8th November

138 Whooper Swans, including 35 juveniles, and 83 Greylags were feeding in a potato field on the Downpatrick Road, Ardglass. A Hen Harrier and a Merlin were at the Beet fields at St Johns Point (Chris Murphy).

The adult Little Gull was still Kinnegar Pools. A flock of approx 20 Fieldfare were near the Holywood Exchange roundabout in Belfast. (Bob Watts).

A Little Auk was found and taken into care at Trillick, Co Tyrone, but unfortunately didn't survive. (Brad Robson).
