Bird News Wednesday 24th November

A Brambling is still visiting a garden near Magilligan. (Martin Deehan).

A group of 4 Whimbrel were at Orlock Point. (Richard Weyl).

A wing-tagged juvenile White-tailed Eagle was at Lower Lough Erne and a Great White Egret was at Boa Island in Fermanagh. (Fionnbarr Cross).

44 Whooper Swans were in a field along Derrymacash Road outside Lurgan and 95+ were at Reedy Flats with Greylag Geese. (Mike McLaughlin).

14 Grey Plover and a Peregrine were sen on Strangford Lough off Castle Espie. (David Miller, Derek Polley)

Rathlin today had a Brambling, Woodcock and three Barnacle Geese with Greylags. (Ric Else, Hazel Watson).
